Damaged hair sign of bad health?

Indeed, body can't talk to express what it is happening inside it. However, there are some irregularity on body including hair can be signals on our health. Damaged hair can be a sign that our health is bad.
Problems on hair such as dandruff, hair loss or hoar often considered ordinary problems. Whereas, damaged hair can be an indicator that there is a serious problem with our health.

1. Dandruff
Dandruff can be caused because our scalp is too dry or too oily. Using shampoo too often or rarely can cause dandruff too.
Dermatologists also believe that dandruff is caused by mold growth. Dandruff doesn't show any negative impact from our health, but yellow dandruff can be an indication to dermatitis seboroik, which is skin inflammation condition that is related to hormone, mold or even certain neurologist conditions.
2. Hair loss
Dermatologists believe that human loss around 90 to 100 hair strands every day. Don't worry, around 90 percent of hair follicles that you have, grow regularly. While the rest 10 percent is on rest mode (telogen phase) and these hairs from follicles will die and fall out every 2 or 3 months, then will replace with new hair. This cycle will be happening over and over.
Hair loss can be a sign that you have unhealthy diet habit. Hair need protein, iron, zinc, vitamin A and Omega 3 fatty acid so it keeps shining and healthy.
These nutrition can be fulfilled if you diet is too strict. If you are malnutrition or have eating disorder, its effect will be shown on your hair and you start to loss your hair.
3. Premature gray hair
Gray hair is not always a sign of aging process. Premature gray hair is also related with heredity natures. Gray hair is not always related with bad healthy, but several conditions such as anemia, thyroid problems, vitamin B12 deficiency and vitiligo (skin condition where skin lost brown color in some areas) can cause premature gray hair.
